MY LIFE: A BOUQUET OF ROSES
The overall concept is to portray my personal image and/or rose imagery striving amid stressful situations. This struggle is a part of the story I call “My Life: A Bouquet of Roses”. It’s a story of struggles, doubts, fears, obstacles, fragility, danger, and at same time, it’s a story of beauty, strength, and survival.
Why the Rose? Well, why not the Rose? There’s such a complexity and commonality to the rose that I can personally relate to. It’s the designated flower for when we are in love and the flower for when we mourn. Although given by the dozens and available in numerous variations, roses are not immortal. Roses cause pain. They prick and cause one to bleed. However, if you journey up that long painful stem, you always discover something beautiful. All it takes is a little faith.
